Hi!

I am ana velázquez

PHYSIOTHERAPIST, FOUNDER OF CPAE AND A LOVER OF PERFORMING ARTS.

I started doing theatre at 8 years old and this passion led me to study physiotherapy.
I combined my studies with other training in injury prevention, ergonomy and emotional intelligence with the aim of being able to assist artists in a specific manner and to improve their performance.
In 2009 I started to dream about creating a specialty inside physiotherapy, oriented to performing arts.
Because it was more than needed. And artists are desperate for it.
Today my dream is a reality… And I want that all those physiotherapists who want, can become specialised in such a necessary and demanded domain.

Do you still have unanswered questions?

These are some of the most frequently asked questions.

You’ll need around 50 hours, spreaded out in the 7 months of the course. Every month you’ll receive your theoretical and practical material that you’ll need to study and solve.
When finishing the course, there will be a multiple choice exam.

The dates for this new edition of the Music Physiotherapy course are as follows:
From 2 October to 26 May for the online modality.
From 2 October to 3 August for the blended modality.
That is, 7 months online + 4 days of in-person practicum in Barcelona, from 31 July to 3 August, in Spanish

At CPAE we’ve been doing in-person courses since 2009 and online specialization courses since 2014. More than 200 physiotherapists (kinesiologists) have benefitted from them.
In the online course, all the practices are explained in full detail, we offer videos with all the steps and you can always ask our team for extra help if you have further questions.
While the in-person course is intensive, carried out in 80 hours, in the online course you work alongside the teachers during 7 months, learning, practicing and improving, month by month.
This format allows you to practice what you’ve learnt in the lessons and to offer your improved service to your patients. This way, you’ll obtain real time feedback that you can later on share with us to make the most of your learning.
In 7 months more training is integrated and, if for some reason, you need more time, we can be flexible.

Of course! All the online students can come at any time to do the in-person practicum in Barcelona. The practicum lasts 4 days and is done intensively.

No, it is not necessary.
We do recommend that you are familiar with instruments, that you learn how the instruments are held, their weight, your position when holding them and so on. But you don’t need to know how to play it at all.

Yes, you can. The course is designed for physiotherapists (kinesiologists) with a university degree.

Since I started to create a specialty in the field of physiotherapy which was devoted to performing arts and music, my dream has always been to take this knowledge everywhere.

For this reason, we don’t want the price of the training to be a problem for anyone. The course can therefore be paid in one or multiple payments during the 6 months.

On cart, you will find different ways to pay. Send us a email if you need more help.

Moreover, you can choose different modalities of payment: paypal, bank transfer or credit card.
